Andrew Cronshaw talk about his exhibition, documenting one of the last days of jute spinning at Tay Spinners in Dundee
Andrew Cronshaw captures the final days of Jute processing at Tay Spinners before its closure in 1998, on display in our temporary exhibition, The Last Of The Tay Spinners. We’ve invited Andrew to discuss his inspiration and practice
The talk will look at images of early Jute Mill interiors taken by several Dundee photographers from the 1870s to 1998.
The talk will then explain how the Tay Spinners Exhibition was compiled over a five-year period.
