We invite arts and creative enthusiasts to our ‘Artists Talk – Sarah Rychtarova’ event on Saturday, January 21, at Verdant Works. The event starts at 2:00 pm and is free to attend, and free parking is also available at Verdant Works car park. Artist’s talk events are designed for the visitors to learn about our exhibitor’s inspiring and unique artwork and the creation process, as well as their life and philosophy.
Sarah Rychtarova is a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Angus and Dundee. She graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, Dundee, in 2014 with a BA(Hons) in Fine Art. She is an art tutor and has worked as a ceramics tutor and technician. Sarah has returned to her journey of preparing a life path as a doula (woman with woman in childbirth) after bringing up her own family. She is also an experimental bass guitar player who has been collaborating with individuals and collectives for over 25 years. Sarah describes herself as “A deep-time diver researching our ancestors, slow pace walker observing life’s cycles, intuitive thinker feeling my way through this journey and creative maker of visions, forms and sonic pulses; my work is an expression of personal journeys experienced throughout life; of faith in the matrilineal ancestry inherent within myself to show me the way; and of generating happiness sustained in the values of creativity, connectivity and faith (taking leaps of it).”
