Discover one of the most deadly infections the world has ever known. Explore how it affected the mill workers of 19th century Dundee and how it still affects over ten million people worldwide today. And meet the Dundee scientists researching a better treatment. This family-friendly, hands-on exhibition explores the past, present and future of Tuberculosis (TB).
Tackling TB: Dundee Scientists Fighting the Killer Cough was produced with WCAIR at the University of Dundee and is on display at Verdant Works from 7 October 2023 to 1 April 2024.
Included in museum admission, and kids up to age 16 go free when accompanied by a paying adult!
As part of the exhibition, we offer interactive kid’s workshops for ages up to 11 years. Workshops are ‘entry by donations’ and can be booked online on our Eventbrite page.
The next Workshops are on 16 December and 17 February 2024. Be quick as spaces are limited.
