An informal short introductory talk about the Community Gardens Programme, which involved a series of workshops from community gardens and food growing projects from 7 different countries, including Brazil, Mexico, Kenya, Uganda, Nepal, Rwanda and some community gardens from Fife and Dundee.
The talk will briefly go through the projects involved and overview their main challenges and successes. Exploring how community food growing and community gardens can help to bring a diverse range of people together to create positive changes in local communities, which often go beyond growing food.
